The Albuquerque Aquarium is offering a free viewing of the NOVA ScienceNOW episode "Fish Surgery" at the Aquarium Education Center. Cofee and Refreshments will be provided during the show. "Looks at how veterinary medicine has caught up with Americas love for fish, now the number one choice of pet." An interactive discussion will follow after the show. I have finally established contact with the education Clerk, Kim Woodhouse with the Albuquerque Aquarium and Botanical Gardens in regards to the Aquarium Evening Lecture Series. I hope to get a full schedule of events next week in time for the next meeting. I am not sure what we can get out of the deal, but I am hoping to get a discounted rate for members and possiblly some other fun stuff. Stay Tuned!

After a shot discussion with Rob from Southwest Reef Company, Rob was very open to offer his storefront as a meeting ground for NMOK. I (Alex) for one think a steady location would be of a huge benifit to the group concidering the past confusion of locations, directions, etc... This will be Brought up at the next meeting. Possible solution would be to have a host every 3rd meeting with the other 2 at a perminate location.
